How to order+

Search for the products you need and choose the correct size or variant.
Add quantities to your cart, then open your cart to prepare a WhatsApp quote request. You can also contact us directly with your list.
We confirm current pricing, availability and any delivery charges.
For a quotation order, we issue an invoice once you accept the quote. Use the payment details on that invoice.
Arrange collection or delivery with our team. Online checkout, where available, shows its supported payment and delivery options before payment.

A WhatsApp message is an enquiry; it is not payment or an order confirmation.

Delivery & collection+

Collect from Swanevelder Elektries in Vaalwater by arrangement. Please confirm that your order is ready before travelling.

For delivery, send us your address and product list. We will confirm whether delivery is available, the cost and the expected lead time. Delivery is not included in a quotation unless expressly stated.

Some products must be ordered from suppliers. Confirm availability before arranging installers or transport. Please report missing, incorrect or damaged items with your order details and photographs where possible.

Returns & refunds+

Returns & Exchanges

Returns may be considered under the following conditions:

• Return requests must be made within 7 days of purchase or delivery.
• Goods must be unused, undamaged and in original packaging.
• Items must be clean and resaleable as new.
• The original invoice or proof of purchase must be provided.
• Management reserves the right to inspect and test returned goods.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Cut cable or cut wire
• Special order or non-stock items
• Installed, used or damaged goods
• Electrical components damaged due to incorrect installation
• Clearance or discontinued items

Handling & Administration Fees

Approved returns may be subject to:

• A 15% handling fee
• Supplier restocking charges where applicable

Duplicate invoices are subject to an admin fee of R50 (excluding VAT).

Defective or Faulty Goods

If a product is defective:

• Notify us immediately.
• Goods may be repaired, replaced, or sent for supplier assessment.
• Manufacturer warranty conditions apply.

We comply with the South African Consumer Protection Act.

Refund Method

Approved returns will be processed as:

• Exchange
• Store credit
• Refund (only where applicable)

Refunds are processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Orders placed online or via WhatsApp are subject to stock confirmation.

• stock availability
• price confirmation
• final approval by Swanevelder Elektries

We will contact you to confirm availability and issue an invoice before collection or delivery.

3. Pricing & Errors

While we strive for accuracy, pricing and product information may occasionally contain errors.

Swanevelder Elektries reserves the right to:

• correct pricing errors
• cancel orders affected by incorrect pricing
• update product information without notice

Customers will be informed before processing any order.

4. Payment Terms

Orders may be paid via:

• EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
• Card payment in store
• Cash on collection

Goods remain the property of Swanevelder EleKtries until payment is received in full.

5. Collection & Delivery

Customers will be notified when goods are ready for collection.

If delivery is arranged, additional charges may apply and delivery times are estimates only.

6. Product Use & Installation

Electrical products must be installed by qualified persons.

Swanevelder Elektries will not be liable for damages caused by:

• incorrect installation
• misuse
• failure to follow manufacturer instructions

7. Returns & Warranty

Returns and exchanges are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

Manufacturer warranties apply where applicable.

8. Limitation of Liability

Swanevelder Elektries shall not be liable for:

• indirect or consequential damages
• loss of income or business interruption
• damages resulting from improper product use

Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.
